vortech superchargers have differant trims. T-trim, S-trim and SQ series? what is the differance between the 3?

also, the vortech's come with the crane ignition... does that include the boost retard?

The S-trim is a street blower, the T-trim is a racing blower and the SQ-series is a S-trim that is quieter. I am not positive but I think the crane that comes with them is a boost retard.

The S-trim and SQ are both "50 state emission legal per CARB EO #D-213-17" that is from there web site.

Whynot go w/ Vortech and get at least 8#'s? I mean 6 really isn't that much and 8 wouldn't be that bad...I mean readin the post about drtswinger's problems w/ his more than likely U'll be changing the ARP bolts and upgrading to better gaskets so why not run a little more and get some good potential out of it.
I mean if my buddy can get 14# out of his SC on his Lightning surely ours can handle at least 8#'s

Kota on 20s, you have similar mods to your veh, Do you have a problem with backfire through your exhaust on deceleration?

well i will definatly go with better gaskets, and bolts no matter how much boost i run.

im thinking of getting a vortech and going with the 3" pulley insted of the 3.1" i dont really hit the track that much, and i want my truck to be really reliable, and going with a lot of boost will land me in jail ;-) i have a heavy foot now as it is

Kota,

Don't forget with the M-1 2bbl you will lower the boost pressure. With just the M-1 it will likely be 1 lb loss with R/T heads an additional 1 lb.
