Message: Just finished the install of my 2 barrel M1 intake manifold this morning. Took about 2 hours and ran into no problems. Paid $435 with shipping from summit took 5 days to get it. Bought intake and install kit. Had to buy gaskets from local parts store. This thing works great, pulls right through to the rev limiter. Notice no loss in low rpm. I highly recomend this for a upgrade, as I read here the engine revs very easy. I plan on putting it on a dyno soon. If someone has these similar perf parts and has put it on a dyno, what were the numbers?

Message: Tim -
I have ordered my M1 and should get it next week. I'm excited about it as I have not done any recent performance mods and my "need for speed addition" is building.
I have read several posts regarding the M1 installation and as I recall, the reported install time was about 7 hours or more. It only took you 2 hours for the install? Could you share your detailed install tips for those of us that are going to do it?
Thanks
Bill

Message: The new M-1 2 barrel from mopar takes only 2 hours to install. The install kit and design are much more friendly than the old M1- 4 barrel, which was intended for carb use only. The new M-1 will also make more torque than the old kit, along with better performance.

Message: The Dealer quoted me $365 to install the M1. Not bad for two hours work.
I think I'll try it myself.
O fcourse, I'll screw it up, have it towed to Dealer then pay even more for them to straighten out my mess.

Message: I think speedtweaks installs them for $200 if you don't mind driving out to Austin.

Message: It will take between 3-4 hours for the normal person of average mechanical skills to install. Easy and straight forward instructions, and it pretty much just falls into place.
