Message: both will give about the same power (which is not much) and sound. the doul out will give more power, but the single out will give better performance

Message: hey thanks for the reply, just need a clearer explanation, you said that dual will give more power but less peformance, what is power and what is performance?

Message: damn even i dont know what i said SORRY!
here goes round 2:
doing a exhaust (either single out or doul out) will not give much power.
the doul out will be louder, but will not perform as good as the single out

Message: i have another questions about exhausts, i noticed that trucks have their tailpipes extended to side rather than straight back like cars, is it like that for a specific reason? thanks!

Message: Two reasons I can think of for exhaust out the side;
Trucks can haul campers/toppers. Side exit is less likely to make its way into cabin of said camper/topper.
Towing, pipes strait out the back will always blow crap on your trailer, boat, jetski, whatever. The water which condenses in the exhaust system will carry out soot and make little black spots on your boat. Its a bitch to clean also.
Thats all I've got on the subject.

Message: One of the other reasons is for increased departure angle...after all, trucks were designed to go off-road!

Message: when i was gettin my flowmaster the shop guy was talking about how he wouldnt install stuff out the back. He said that when you get rear ended it really screws things up if you have stuff stickin out the back. And the person who caused the accident gets stuck paying to fix the whole exhaust system.
