What kind of gains can you get from a good aftermarket Coil Upgrade?
What do you think about replacing the stock coils with MSD/Accel (42k Volts)?
Summit has a 4 pack for $55.
That's $110 (plus bracket fab).
Any reason not to try this???

Plug Wireswould also be necessary.
Any resident experts have an opinion, Bernd, CW, Duner, etc.????

I really don't know. I would be surprized if it would improve much of anything. With 8 individual coils there is plenty of satuation time to get peak voltage.

With the 8 individual coils (coil on plug) and no plug wires I dought there would be any difference worth the money on a street truck.

Indexing your plugs and playing with heat ranges and gaps is all I can see,I`m gonna try a set of splitfire plugs and see how that goes

What do you hope to gain???? This is a well designed ignition system! There is a reason that Lexus,Mercedes,BMW and Cadilac have all gone over to this system inspite of it's added cost. Indexing is great idea. I would be very carefull in playing with the heat range. Some engine can not tolerate anymore then one heat range hotter. If you go too hot detonation can destroy your engine. Just exercise caution!!!
