Hello to all...
I just purchased the Intense Perf 7" Big Mouth air intake for my 2000 3.9L. I'm having someone install it for me in the coming weeks. I've read many posts about the cruise control cable problem that comes up on these installs, but am looking for a definitive answer here: Is the cruise cable going to be in the way? And if so, what can my friend do to relocate the cable?
Thanks for your help as always, board members. As usual, I must come to the experts to get the right answers :-)

The intenseperformance kits are supposed to come with a bracket that lowers the cruise control cable 2". I need to e-mail them to get one for my intake. I have a 360intakez.

I just got the same intake for my 2001 V6. The cable was not in the way. It comes close but dose not touch. Its about 1.5 inches away from the front of the filter. If you had the 9" filter it would rub for sure.
