Subject: mod problem... IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 dak with 5.2L. I recently put a dual exhaust system on my truck from midas..the ravin, and I have a k/n air filter charger. I was wondering if there is a lenth of time, miles, etc. before the computer reads that something is different with your engine and adjusts it to work with the new parts, or does this happen at all? My truck just doesn't seem to be running top notch...and comments or suggestions, thanks.

Message: When I installed headers, for the first day or two the truck ran like crap. Throttle response was practically non existant. I guess one day the computer finally kicked in because it now seems to have accepted the mod and I am haulin. Give it 500 before worrying.
