Subject: RR's or CAM IP: Logged
Message: Should I go for new 1.7 RR's, springs and pushrods which will be about $630 or should I go for a bigger cam which would only be $295 and a shop said $400 for install which is a little more. But which do you think I'll get the most benefit from?

Message: Kota I've seen you around on some of those MP cam posts have U heard about any good cams to get besides MP? I was thinkin KRC sells CompCams but I'm not sure how good of quality they are I know they're better than MP. Do you know anyone that is the absolute best?

Message: well, i dont really know a whole lot about cams. i just talked to a guy who installed the R/T cam in his 318 and he was NOT AT ALL happy with it.
i heard the comp cams are good, but i have no experience with them. i'd give marty at krc a call and see what he has to say. then call john mercedes, and randy pile and compare notes.

Message: Try doing some research on the new Mopar cam. Some say it will work well. (P# 5007551)
