ON the new 4.7L kits, how much HP and TQ does KB claim on their kit? Is it measured at the engine or at the wheels... I know I have read before that someone on here has one on their truck; I would like to know some first-hand opinions about the kit and how it affected qtr. mile times and gas mileage. I will have a 2002 RC Sport Plus 4.7L 5spd/3.92 Sure grip with HD service group.
I just want to know if it is worth anywhere close to what they are asking for them. I know about whipplechargers and how they work and all that, and I know the quality of KB stuff is superb, but I want to know how much difference it really made.
Would I be better off just using the dry NOS kit that I already have and spraying it with 100hp or so? How much boost/N20 can these engines take before popping? Are the pistons, rods, crank, block, strong enough for this abuse?
