Message: I got another question for everyone. My catalytic converter is starting to rattle, so I figure it is time for a new one. I was thinking while i'm working on this why not spring for duels? I am figuring a pair of car sound cats running back to a pair of supertrapps. I have checked the backlog of posts and found someone running duels, by running the pipes side by side on the passenger side, then splitting off after the axel, but before the spare tire and following the frame out. In my reading I have seen it said not to go over 2.25" and elseware it says 2.5". What is the concensous as far as tube size? Does anyone see any probloms with this setup before I spend to much time and energy on it?

Message: I put 2.5" duals on a 318 with no cats, and had one heck of a dead spot between 2200 and 2800 rpm's. But, I did put headers on at the same time. From what I have read, go with the 2.25's and make sure you have some back pressure

Message: It probobly would help if I told those who don't know what I have in this area. It's a 94' 318 with JBA headers. The supertrapps are adjustible as far as flow, backpressure, and sound.
