Hey there everyone. Went to Texas Raceway in Kennedale (1/8 mile) last night. There were some extremely fast vehicles out there. One guy was shutting his motor down at half track and still ran low 5's. The best slip I have for the night is as follows:

'95 Sport RC 2.5L 5 speed no muffler

2.6 60 ft
7.5 330 ft
11.947 1/8 mile @ 55.08 mph

Anywho, I saw Intense39 there also. He was runnin' in the low 9's (!). He's gonna be nippin at the lightnings soon.

Have you ever seen the "Drag'n Wagon"? I raced him once before and he beat me by a tenth. He was out there last night but did not race. But once we were on the freeway it was another story. We were messin' around a little and he got behind me to get around a car. I didn't know he was gonna race me all out but he zipped out from behind me and onto my right side. When I saw him I dropped a gear. Frankie said it was pretty funny. It ended when he exited though.

Oh sorry Greg. I didn't know you were in the 8's now. That is one quick truck. Mad propolas to you.

I thought you had seen the drag'n wagon. My bad. Frank said it was one of the funniest things he'd seen. Too bad it was funny because we're slow.

Hopefully we'll be able to get a decent group of us out there sometime.

I'm sorry to sound stupid,,but I have never dealt with 1/8 mile tracks/times. What do your numbers come out to in the 1/4?
Again, sorry.

I'm not exactly sure how they work out in 1/4 mile times as I have never ran at a 1/4 mile track.

The Drag'n Wagon is an older style body. It's a faded blue and with the suspension that is on it he gets some funny lookin' weight transfer. He runs in the high elevens like I do. When he races he writes "Drag'n Wagon" on the side rear window so you'd know if you had seen it.
