Subject: Traction bars IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone had any experience with the slide-a-link traction bars from competition engineering. I am looking to install a pair and would like to know if anyone has used them.

Message: I have about 9 months experience with them. I like them; they are adjustable and have a differenct look to them. They are, however, a pain to put on. I talked tom someone on here about 2 weeks ago about them and I took pics of them if you care to see.

Message: Thanks Dave, I have acsess to a lift and press which should make it easier. Do you keep them set tight on the road? Yes I would like to see the pics.

Message: Now I keep them at the recomended on road setup. This is .25" gap between the bushing and the stop on the passenger side and .25" and an extra turn for the drivers side to compensate for weight. It can be a fairly rough ride if they are snugged down for race setup. I think if I was going to do it over again I would get different bushings made out of Delrin or PEEK so it wouldn't squeek, but you get used to it. what's you address?
