Subject: Running 9#'s Safe? IP: Logged
Message: I have the 99 rt with the blown head gaskets. I was only running 6#'s, but they blew. My question is, after replacing all the top gaskets with fel-pro, adding an m1 intake, with mildly ported and polished heads,K&N intake, exhaust (high flow cat and single chamber flowmaster).... and soon to be headers, along with the msd btm... Can I safely run 9#'s on the street, or should i just hold off untill the track and run six on the street. By the way, this is a powerdyne unit. thanks

Message: Install a new set of head bolts as well. Mopar Performance is fine on the bolts but I personally prefer ARP (studs if you can do it).
9# boost isn't a problem though. Definitely get the 24# injectors though.
