Subject: plugs IP: Logged
Message: i herd you get 4 horse power from the auto light plugs. is that just swaping the plugs, or with wires and more powerful coil? also what is the gap on thoes plugs, and are they pregapped? thank you

Based on the dyno sheets, the 4hp is from the plugs alone.
If you still have the stock ignition I think the gap on the plugs should be 0.035 (it's been a while since I had the stock ignition). Always double check the gap before installing any spark plug. It is very common for the plugs to have the wrong gap right out of the box.

Message: A set of plugs that are really good are the plus 4 buy bosch they are amazing plugs. I had a 1987 bonnaville and the thing couldn't even squile the tires i put the plus 4s in and it could so i think that you should use those. Plus bosch is also know for having very good products.

I see no reason why they wouldn't work just as well on your Gen1 Dak. The dyno run we're talking about is on a Gen2.
