You will be so impressed how the handeling changes I have the 3in western chassis and doetch racing shocks. It handels like a dream so smooth and crisp cornering. Plus the lowering of a truck in the right proportion gives it such a meaner stance.

Go with the lower control arm. I did mine last week. 3in lower a-arm, or a 2inch coil, no spindle

No one makes a spindle for the 97-01 dakota, because It will rub on the stock 15inch rim. You need to get the lower controll arm. I got mine from western chassis. They have a 2" dropped controll arm, and if you want to go lower get a 1-3" lowering spring. for a 5" total drop in the front. I think djm also has a 2" droped controll arm.

18" dubs?? what the hell is an 18" dub? a dub is a 20. oh well whatever back to the question. No one makes a dropped spindle for a 97-01 dakota. you need a dropped lower control arm. western chassis makes a 2" one that works well and it comes with a lifetime warrenty. mix it with a lowered spring and you can drop the front up to 5" without 'bagging the truck. I think djm also has a control arm

Thanks you guys, I was told DJM makes dropped spindles, but I do like the idea of the A-arm. Where can I get Western from?
