Subject: beat a navigator! IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys, got a little story to tell. I was at the gas station down the road from my house when these two real cocky guys pulled up in a new navigator. I hate to pass judgment on people but they just carried themselves like they were better than everyone else (side note: i had just gotten off of work and was still in my pizza hut uniform with an apron covered in dried sauce, this made them better than me you see). Well as I was pulling out of the gas station they were getting back in their navigator. I gave my totally stock 2001 club cab 4.7 automatic a little extra gas while looking at them to let them know what i thought of them. After pulling out onto the main road and making a u-turn to head back home i looked in my rear view and saw them do the same( I was doing about 30), thats when they gunned it. I waited till they were about a car length behind me and i hit it. They got a nose in front of me then I hit about 3500-4000rpms in 3rd and I pulled away, by the time I had to brake for my turn I was doing 85-90 and was about 1.5-2 car lengths in front of them, nedless to say they were pissed. I dunno, I know this was long but feeling my truck hit those high rpms and pull away....I just had to tell someone.
