ABS? If not, are they available for Gen III
Daks?
I've had them in other vehicles and they are a
huge improvement over stock!

Message: What improvement are you talking about? The only reason you'd need those is if your brakes get REALLY FRIGGEN HOT, the rotors need to be red. To get them that hot, you'd need to change out the friction material & fluid or ride them down a grade to beyond fading. Even then, the stock rubber wont melt. Ive seen caliper paint bubble and the rubber brake line was fine.
Also be careful with which ones you get. If they don't seal perfect then you will have air get in the lines.

Message: Hey Lesley, how ya doin? I beleive the stainless lines will not corrode or rust out like the OE lines, plus they look alot better.

Message: Stainless steel(braided wire) brake hoses,I'am assuming this is what you are refering to,should have no affect on the operation of the ABS system function. The only thing the lines and hoses do is provide a place for the brake fluid to live to apply pressure to the brake pads when the brakes are applied. The added factor is that they don't expand near as much as the factory rubber hoses thus giving a harder feel to the brake pedal.

Message: Hey Clevite 77, good thanks, you? They do look great, you're right. They look the way I had hoped my braided hose sleeves would look, but don't.

Message: LOL! Noooo, I have to cool it for a while! I want a tonneau, but my rule for my truck mods is cash only, so it will take some saving up. No parts on credit, or I will be living in the Sportz Truck Tent I bought last year! :)

Message: your cool Joe E.
If ya have all the tools, it's pretty cheap (about $20 if ya do it yourself) more a pain, than anything especially if ya have to run them under the whole truck.
It's also a good idea to flush the master cylinder as well,

Message: Thanks man. Appreciate it. Where should I go to get a set of break lines? Do they come in a standard size and you cut them to fit your needs, Or do they come as a set and they are bolt on Or what? I have never done this before, meaning break lines. Alot of engine stuff, but never breaks. Thanks for the help.
