Message: I know that if you have an automatic and throw in a high performance torque converter you will get more power to the ground. I was wondering if I put in a performance clutch in my 5 speed would I get a lot more performance, or should I spend my money in other places?

A higher performance clutch isn't really necessary unless you're really abusing the clutch (hard shifts, offroading, constant drag racing, etc.) or you making a lot of power at the crank where the factoy clutch won't hold anymore.
I had contemplated on the Centerforce Clutch for my Dakota but the factory clutch is still holding (wihtout slipping) at 52K miles. When it start to slip (or chatter), i'm replacing it with a Centerforce though.

Message: I put the centerforce dual friction in my 5.2. grabs hard know doubt but unless yours needs changing it won't effect overall performance unless your truck is radiccly modified.
