Message: Late last fall I got an info pack from Kenne Bell that had an add for the Optimizer II computer upgrade for my 4.7L but was I tried to get it from them, they said it wasn't available yet.
Does anyone know if it is out yet? I sent them an email but haven’t had any response yet.

Message: Hey Conig, write back and let us know how it turns out w/ the custom flash. I was also thinking about one too, except I was looking into having ASE chips do mine, they remove the speed gov. + their price is the same as KB.

Message: first I'm gonna say I don't feel mods on my 98svt contour the only mods I did that I actually felt were when I had my intake manifolds double extrude honed and when I put a 75shot of n2o on it.
bottom line I can feel this mod, alot, I only drove for about 6minutes but going through a corner if I stomp it the cars as fast as it used to be but it now smokes the tires. my truck is definately faster. shifts better and has much more pep. I'm deffinately not sorry I did it and it only took 3days when it arrived at kenne-bell it was sent out the same day. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Message: Cool man, I did a little bit more talking about custom PCM flashes to Marty at KRC, because I know that if there were any thing that I needed to know that he would tell me. My main concern was, when I talked to ASE chips, they told me that I could'nt use my IAT adjuster, and the TPS adjustment that I did, because it would cause the PCM to go crazy, and not work right. So he gave me another (personal) company, that does custom flashes, and they are B&N, they told me that those two items would not effect the flash in any bad way, "it would help it". But anyways, glad to see that you are happy with the results from you're flash. Now I cannot wait until I get mine done.
Thanks for replying,
Justin P

Message: if those two mods are gonna mess up the ase it must be like the jet.
I also don't like when company's give a large margin for gains like 5-15% like ase did with me.
plus there most likely being coutous and I had a homemade iat adjuster in a different car and it didn't afferct my custom burn't eprom.

Message: Justin are you talking about B&G Chrysler Specialties? Cuz I talked to Marty at KRC and he gave me that number to call about the reflash of the PCM's. What sux is I called up B&G and the dude that normally does the flashes is out and won't be back for awhile and there is a 2 month wait until they can start the flashes again. Also asked the guy for a ballpark price on it and he said its like around $550-$600!! I think I can get some other mods added on till the price of that goes down.

Message: I just had a throught about this. Kenne Bell says it's a
driveline issue about removing the 96MPH speed
governor so i had a throught i wonder if it has
something to do with the gears. Since a truck with 3.92
gears would have to spin the drivetain much faster his
is the only reason i can think of to do this. So let's do a
quick comparison if you have the 95 MPH governor
what gears do you have in the back I have 3.92s.
