Subject: HEY BERNRD- MY TB IP: Logged
Message: I PORTED/POLISHED MY TB OVER THE WEEKEND. FOLLOWED THE INFO I GOT FROM FAST4X4. EVERYTHING WENT WELL AND IT ACTUALLY STARTED UP WHEN I PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGATHER!(NO EXTRA PARTS!)I ALSO CLEANED THE IAT,LOOKED REALLY BAD.WHAT SHOULD I BE LOOKING FOR AS FAR AS IMPROVEMENTS,IF ANY.

Message: Uhoh, ya got a Mr. Redneck porting job on it eh? (Jon's pretty good with that though.) :)
Reset the PCM and drive it normally (don't just run it WOT to see if it's got any gains right off the bat as the PCM needs to run through a "quick learn" cycle first - about 50 miles).
You should see some better throttle response right out of the hole with a stonger pull all the way from off-idle to about 5000rpm.
No spare parts? That takes all the fun out of it though. LOL
