i just bought my new dakota, a 02 r/c 2wd black sport. 4.7 5 speed man., 392 posi. DID I MAKE A GOOD CHOICE?? WILL THIS TRUCK BE QUICK? WHAT KINDA 1/4 SHOULD I BE LOOKING FOR ? I HOPE IT WILL BE QUICKER THAN MY 93-V6 REG CAB. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR MY TRUCK PLEASE HELP!

Do you not have it? You mean you just ordered you 4.7L 5-speed right.
It should be much quicker than your V6, your guaranteed 15's and maybe low 15's or 14.9 if you know how to drive the truck hard Vs 16's or 17's with your V6.

YOU REALLY SUCK! Naw, jus' kidding! Congrats! My truck just turned a year old last month. I don't know what climate you live in, so just might not be a ble to appreciate the performance of your truck til spring. With an open dif bone stock 1/4 @ 15.12 and 0-60 @ 6.75. You should do a little better.
