Message: I think it is some company that is just redistributing the split second controller. Like Mopar selling the K&N FIPK under the mopar name.

Message: You have a truck just like mine right? If you get this before me let me know how it works I think the 4.7 is a little lean. But I can't get anyone to varify this.

sort of like yours but hey if it works on my engine it will work on yours!
just trying to decide if a kennebell pcm or one of these is best for me. I love tunable things for some reason

Message: I measured O2 sensor readings on a stock 5.9 and the reading was .94 volts quite rich but responds better to mods. My 4.7 with the mods on it right now is sitting at .86 volts which is leaner. But I am not sure if it is a little to lean because I know it doesn't respond to mods like the 360. I asked around on another site and a guy with a fairly well modded 5.9 said his 02 sensor readings were at .94 as well (richer than mine).
Oh well Guess I will have to find out myself. Personaly I think freeing up the exhaust and adding a little fuel will work well on the 4.7.

Message: I agree the 4.7l like almost any engine should benifit from an exhaust system and less backpressure. people need to remember back pressure doesn't increase or keep torque. exhaust velocity does whats the easiest way to keep velocity up? add back pressure kinda like a pressure nozzle on your garden hose.
with vering info I "plan" to just send my pcm to kenne bell probable monday. hopefully with good results. but first I'd like to do an exhaust system but can't decide how I should do it.

Message: Personaly I am not ot worried about loosing a little torque down low. This truck has a 15.68:1 final drive ratio in first gear. That is a ton of multiplication. I want to push the power so that it pulls all the way to 6000 if I can. Think I will need cams for that though.
Bernd anything good to say on the turbo yet?
