Has anyone had a problem with the under drive pullies making the altenator output drop off? On mine I have the crank and water pump pullies only. At idle with the lights on the gauge is almost at the line on the low side. Also the idle flucuates sometimes its at 450rpm then it will be at 700rpm.

i put a set of asp pulleys on my 99 r/t. i had the crank and alternator pulleys. i can let mine set and idle for about 30 minutes with the lights and stereo on before the gauge gets low enough to make the check gauges light come on. once it comes on you have about 5 minutes left and she won't be starting if you shut her off. at idle the lights just barely dim on me, nothing too bad though. you might want to consider getting the alternator pulley.

I have the ASP crank only setup and it is at full charge at 900 rpm at idle with the lights off running it still charges the batt and is a good setup with an electric fan.

Power drops off on mine and you can see the lights dim at night but it hasn't caused me any problems. Had the Kenne Bell pulleys on since '99. I suspect that a large stereo system may cause a problem but mine is stock. Exhaust noise is my music. :-)
