Message: I am trying to figure out what type of roller rockers to go with on an 01 5.9 qc. I am leaning towards comp cams aluminum or crowers. Having difficulty figuring out what ratio to choose 1.6 or 1.7. any one done this mod yet? What is the stock ratio?

Message: The stock ratio is 1.6 if you are not going to swap the cam then get the 1.7 rockers. If you are going to get a perf cam then go with the 1.6 rockers. About 20hp on the 1.7 and stock cam.

Message: You can with a mild cam like mopar performance one. Just most cam manufacturers suggest using a stock ratio rocker. One thing I have learned is that not to argue with the cam manufacturer. 1.7 ratio makes the cam even bigger than it is originaly designed.
