Message: Cycle the key three time and on the third time leave it on the code should be displayed in the odometer window. You can look them up on www.obdii.com.

Message: Thanks CW!! Do you leave the battery hooked up when you do this? I know that you unhook the negative when you reset the PCM. I was just wondering if this is the same principle. I guess the odometer probably wouldn't read with the battery unhooked, however. Stupid question. Just cycle from off-to-on, and don't start. Is that correct?

Message: I don't trust OBDII anymore. Or else I shouldn't trust Haynes repair mag. Both disagree. For my truck it says (OBDII) a cylinder #7 misfire, the book says tranny problem. The truck doesn't shift right and the torque converter won't unlock all the time. Wich is the right one......I wonder...
