this punk kid thinks that his jeep grand cherokee limited 4.7 with quadra drive would smoke my modified R/T he wants to meet me somewhere and claims he will wreck me, hes stock and i run about 14.5..what do you guys think

We have a 5.9Limited Jeep and the numbers on that are 15.2 in the 1/4. Now I think it is still the fastest Jeep they made. So I am pretty damn sure you can take him. Just get a good start and let us know what happens

The quadra trac will slow it down as well. If you race him and loose be embarassed they are not that quick. The 5.9 limited feels way better.

the 5.9 limited is faster than the 4.7 cherokee,
but my slightly modified 4.7 dak smoked it!

I don't think stock 4.7 GC 4x4's can touch mid 15's. That's about where a stock 5.9 limited runs, and the new HO 4.7's are not even that fast (although the 4x2 version might be). A regular 4.7 quadradrive Limited GC is probably more like 16's on a good day and 16.5 on most days. The new Jeep has gotten to be quite a porker, a great 4x4 but not a 1/4 mile demon.
