 Subject: Buying a 98 Dodge Dakota

Hi everyone.
I figure this will be the place to ask.
I'm seriously considering buying a 98 Dodge Dakota in the next few days and I was wondering what everyones opinion of the truck was, good, bad? Any major troubles, and also, what do you think I should be paying? I'll be paying 14000 and it has 25000 miles on it, does this sound good? Thanks!

I have a '99 Dak club 4x4 5.2L and love it. As for the price, depends on the type with which options. Plenty of power for the average driver.

I owned a 98 dak 4x4 v6 i love it...
ball joint ?? front suspension ?? u joint ??
muffler??
When I purchase my dak i ask the dealer to change does because my mecanic said they where bad(in riting)..
v6 power not bad after a few mod...

My 98 Dakota reg. cab SLT V8 (5.2l) has 130000 miles on it. Runs and rides like new. Been will maintained. No major malfuunctions yet. Paint begining to fade. Interior holding up, no cracks or rips, just a few stains. Bought new in 98. PS. Change automatic transmission fluid yearly or your luck won't be as good as mine.

well our dakota has 55000 km on it and we need a new motor on it....but other then that performance wise it was great
