 Subject: Golden SS Exhaust tip

My Single side exit Gibson SS tip has turned a slight golden color. I'm assuming this is due to the exhaust heat.
Is this normal or could the exhaust be too hot? Does this indicate a problem?

I have heard of SS headers changing color from the heat, but never the tip, yes, it is from heat, but is there a problem, i'm not sure

My 18" stainless tip is also slightly golden. I wouldn't sweat it however.
