Message: I'm in the process to purchase a new dakota 4-door pick-up. I want the v-8 and towing package. My question is I want to install a super-charger as well as lowing the body 2 inches. I hope that someone has done this and willing to give me some pointer as how to go about it. I haven't brought my truck so I can still order it with automatic or 5 speed and different size v-8.
Thanks Terry

Message: are you getting the 4.7 or 5.9? also, you are doing a 2" body drop? if so, why would you buy a new truck, cut the hell out of it, then weld it all back together only for 2"? normal body drops for gen III's is 3 1/2-4".
but for your question, a kenny bell would be too high. try powerdyne, vortech, or paxton

Message: if you're getting the 4.7 i'd recommend the 5 speed. autos have a problem when they get supercharged with the kenne bell. I don't know with what supercharger u should go with, but i've only heard good things about the kenne bell on mamuals.
