Message: I want to firm up my shifts. Is the TransGo shift kit the way to go?
What is the difficulty level for this type of upgrade? How much firmer will my shifts be and what are the possible consequences to my tranny? Will it shorten the life of my drivetrain or what???
Let me know people.

Message: I installed a Turbo Action Cheeta Shift Kit in my 94. It shifts nicely and is very "streetable". Under light accelration, the shift is firm, but doesn't break your neck.
The kit is tough to install and involves almost complete disassemble of the valve body. If you and not technically inclined, I wouldn't suggest tackling it yourself. If you do try it, just take your time and follow the directions explicitly. There are a ton of springs and check balls etc.. They all have to go back correctly or your trans will not work. Period...
Give Turbo Action a call for your application.
