Subject: Topend HP Increase IP: Logged
Message: Is there any way to increase the HP range? Like for example on mustangs and camaros the HP drops off at around 5000-5500 RPMs but on my R/T the HP drops off at 4000 RPMs. Is there a way to make mine drop off in the 5000 RPM range?

Message: I would suggest cam replacement and M-1 intake.
Something along the .512" compcam IMHO. Maybe a 52mm to top it off. Of course there is headers, cat back, cold air intake would work very well in this combo. Wish my 4.7 was this easy to make power in.

Message: Well I got the catback and the intake taken care of...just got an ignition system ready to put on and I'm thinkin the next thing will be the TB. I heard the headers only add about 2-3 HP so why spend $600 for only 3HP? Other than that U think all those will increase the HP drop off range?

Message: The 2bbl M-1, cam and TB and you will think you have a different truck. Have seen dyno results so all the way to 5500+ with good power. I just can't find the site right now.
