Message: I wanted to know if anyone has come out with
a header that shows any real gains on the 4.7.
Also how is the package with the 70mm TB
and intense performance 4" custom intake?
Does it add alot more pep? ( 1 more question)
Whats the size of the stock TB size of the 2001
4.7?
Thanks

Message: I'm yet to hear anything negative about JBA headers. Don't know any numbers though.

Message: From what I understand, you won't see your money's worth from an exhaust system until you get you PCM reprogrammed. Thats what i've heard anyhow. I have heard positive things about the flometrics 70mm throttle body though. I've also heard the volant intake will fit the 70mm as well as the 4" Z-tube. Just doen't look as good (bent aluminum vs. plastic). But being that you have a 2001 noone will mess with reprogramming. I'm holding out for some aftermarket PCM upgrades before I do anything else.

Message: The headers on the 4.7L should be the very last item on your list. The factory header/manifold works very well.
ASE Chips and KRC Performance will custom program your 4.7L PCM ('01 as well).

Message: If I get a custom program is it still good if I add more mods. Do they ask what you want when they program it or is there just a specific program that evryone gets?
