My sister and I need a good truck to move my things to my new job in Pennsylvania.I have been looking at the Dakota and Toyota.I think the Dakota is sweet,but can not make up my mind what to do in picking out the best truck.Would you like to help me out. Barb

The dakota is the best truck for the money and size, looks great as well. If you buy a v-8 they have a much better tow rating than the tacoma.

CW I looked at the one that is called RT.That truck is so fast,I pushed the gas down and it layed me in the seat.Do you know if that truck would pull a big U-haul trailer?Barb

Barb, the R/T is among the quickest trucks on the road with the Magnum 5.9L under the hood, but if your looking for truck to pull and haul a lot, u don't need the R/T. The R/T is built for speed, it's lowered from the factory and can hug turns with the best of 'em. The R/T is a sweet truck, but i'm not sure it's what u'r looking for.

Don't buy the R/T untill you drive a 4.7/5sp/3.92. It's quicker, more agile, about $4000 cheaper and gives you better gas mileage. But don't tell the R/T people they get REALLY touchy!
