Did you have the correct weight programmed into the G-Tech? Should be in between 4000-4200lbs (model & extras depending).
21.32...you must have been burning the tires 1/2 way down the 1/4 mile. ;)

Message: You don't have to put your weight in for the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. It must be broke though because I was running a 0-60 and just stopped at 73mph because of fear of a ticket and the truck still ran a 16.8 I think. Make sure you have it set at .00 or the closest you can get it and you are going on a level street otherwise the readings can be waaaaaaayyyy off. Bumps in the road can also give erroneous times. By the way my best time to date for 0-60 is 7.13 with my QC. That is with the 70mm TB, Iat adjuster, Jet chip stage II, 3923's, po' boy intake, and dynomax superturbo dual custom exhaust. Not too bad for such a heavy truck.

Message: Bernd, is that weight range for a V6 5spd RC as well? I ask because my registration says the truck weighs 3700 lbs, and some math I ran but don't remember a ways back yells "3600".

Message: The 97+ V6's are, on the average, about 4000lbs with driver and a full tank of fuel. If you want to know the exact weight, go to your local rock yard and drive the truck (with yourself) up on the scales. Most will let you do this anyway.

Message: I just picked up some stones .. to bad bernd beat me to this one. but my truck w/ 2 people 4.7 QC was ~4800. I'd think one person in a RC V6 would be about 4000 or abit under. But yea for exact measurements fill it up w/ Gas and go to the rock yard. They make you weigh in before you pick up any rocks... Just don't pick up any ;-)

Message: Smitty,
7.13 is pretty sweet! I'd hate to see what my truck will do carrying an extra 1000 pounds. I wish I had the cash flow for the new tb now! I might have to get the fastman tb. Lesley has got me thinking about doing an at home port and polish. I'll have to see how thr truck responds to the home brew air intake. Since I did the new air intake w/a K&N drop in my 0-60 has gone from 6.75 to 7.4-go figure.
