Message: I have a 98 5.2 SLT 2WD. I have a Snugtop bed cover that is so heavy, I thought the Ranchos would help.

Message: Are you talking about the RS9000 adjustable shocks:

These are adjustable for ride quality, not ride height. They won't raise your truck.
What Snugtop do you have? I have a Hi-liner which weighs about 200 pounds. It barely affects the ride height.

Message: No, I am talking about the active suspension that helps the stabilization of the back loaded or not.
My Snugtop is like a locking tonneau cover, very heavy but I love it. I do not know the model name, it was on the truck when I got it.

Message: I have heard good things about active suspention from reputable people. It increases load carrying capasity, decreased body roll and eliminates wheel hop. The only place I know of that sells it off hand is http://www.speedtweaks.net/. I have heard of people using them on the track for traction purposes. I will be buying a set for my truck for help towing the holiday trailer.

I didn't know Speedtweaks sold it. Roadmaster sells it for my 98 for $229, shipping included.
