Just hang in there...there are more than just the Leach PCM (Mike and Tom) who can program them.

The 2001 PCM programs will be available soon (not by me either).

I modified my 2001' 4.7 Autonmatic, Quad Cab with a performance cat-back single exhaust and simply replaced the air filter with K&N high flow filter.
THEN I had the PCM flashed at the dealer (FREE). WHAT A DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE ! I have to go easy in right-hand turns and can easily fish-tail this heavy truck in a left-hand turn. Approx. 4 second right wheel spin off the line. It would not do any of that before. No 1/4 mile times available. Next Mods will be plugs, 70"TB and cool air intake (probably g-forced, still waiting).

What did you say when you went to the dealership? What did they end up doing?

What did they flash your computer with? If everybody says they do not have the programs, that makes me wonder? I am very curious about what they did? Thanks for any help.

I told the dealer that I wanted the PCM flashed and he just told me he would at no cost. I have no idea what "program" they used.

By law, the dealer is not allowed to install any type of "flash" that deviates from emissions guidelines and programming. Mopar Performance, Leach, and a few others are the only ones capable of reprogramming beyond factory flash revisions. (The DRBIII can't custom program...only flash upgrades.)

The dealer does't have high perf. flashes only updates to solve minor software gliches or drivability complaints.
