Message: Has anyone tried the paxton setup for the 4.7? Saw it listed @ truckperformance.com. Just curious.

Message: I didn't know Paxton was in on it too, wow a 4.7L with 410 hp and 379 ft lbs of torque (if you add the red numbers to the stock 4.7L ratings)

Message: Well I checked it out, not sure where you got 410hp & 379ft-lbs torque. Paxton claims 85hp & 55 ft-lbs torque gain which yields 315hp & 350ft-lbs gain @ the crank.

Message: Wow, I really screwed that up, I added the 115hp gain (like it says) accidentally to 295 instead of 235. d@mn and those numbers sounded so good to, sorry guys, and thanks Doug for correcting me on that.

Message: The Kenne Bell s/c has the same numbers but doesn't allow the trans to shift into overdrive while under boost & you have to really let off the gas to get it to shift into od. I wonder if Paxton found a workaround for this, they have very little info on the web site, it would be great if anybody installed one & could share their exp with us.
