Subject: V6 Roller Rockers IP: Logged
Message: What is the difference between the 1.6 and 1.7 roller rockers and what can they do performance wise for my truck? I plan on adding the KRC performance cam and head work along with full exhaust, better timing chain, etc. at 100,000 miles. Which rockers should I get?

Message: 1.6 is the stock ratio. 1.7 is higher, gives you more lift, more torque and a little more horsepower. KRC recommends there cam and the 1.7's because he only adds to the duration of the cam. Use Crower, their the best. If you weren't using a cam, 1.6's would still help considering they are "roller" rockers which reduces friction thus more HP.
