Subject: 70mm TB or JBA headers?
IP: Logged

Message:
I am stuck guy's help me out. I have to choose either between a set of JBA headers or a modified TB, perfer the 70mm, just because I've heard so many good things about them (not unless some of you have found smaller ones that run better!(for example; like the 68mm). I am just wanting to know which one of these bolt-on parts will I see, and feel more and better TQ, and HP with, from take off to top end. thanks Justin

well i have a 5.2 (4.7 might respond differant, but i dont think so)so ill just tell you why i did the TB first. 1. i wanted more lowend torque,(which i got more of) 2. its cheaper than headers (expecially cyramic coated ones), 3. i have heard the stock exhaust manifolds flow really good and i figured i would get more out of a TB.
i have still not got the headers, but they are next.

for your 4.7 i have heard more than one praise the 70mm TB and one person say they didnt notice that much of a differance on the headers. remember, you must inhale to exhale. by doing the headers first you might loose your bottom end torque.
