Okay, maybe I'm a little thick here... the throttle position is different on the 3.9 V6, right? All the intakes I've seen other than the homebrews make use of the TB hat, so... the 57-1509 WILL fit on my throttle? From your other posts, I understand that it might be necessary to bend the heat shield slightly - is that the only modification? The local performance shop told me to forget it, that it would not fit my truck. Thanks for all your help by the way.

Most performance shops don't want the liabilty of modifying anything! It will fit. I don't have exact instructions, but Bernd and others can help!
