Message: Has anyone installed a perma-cool fan? i need to know how to wire up the thermal relay. There are two wires coming off of it. One goes to power but it does not say where to route the second wire. Ive got it wired so it runs the whole time for now. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: If im not mistaken, the logic would say to plug the second wire to the coolant sensor! Your relay may be looking for a resistance or a drop in the refrence voltage comming in/from the sensor.
But don't take my word for it!

Do NOT tie into the Coolant Temp Sensor. They're based on resistance (not voltage) and if you alter the resistance in any way (by tapping into it), you may risk altering the signal to the PCM. (Your coolant temp gauge is also based on this sensor...if you change it, you will change the temp reading as well.)
Most Auto-Temp kits (for the electric fans) come with a lead that you either put into the radiator hose (top hose) or a lead that you shove through the radiator near the top hose.
