Message: I've got a 1988 long bed 2X4. Rear equipped with air lift brand bags. Truck has regular shocks all around. Question is what shocks are decent out there. Monroe makes sensatracks for truck-are they ok? Rear weight carrying is not a problem since i can adjust the pressure in the bags. Bought truck off the lot--no history available.

Message: Sensi-Tracs are an excellent shock. Take a look at the new Reflex shocks. They have a valve like the Edelbrocks, but cost about half as much. They are also made by Monroe.

Message: I did'nt mention my truck has 247,500 miles on it. No performance edelbrock stuff needed. Just a decent shock that can handle an occasional 1,000 lbs. in the back end while being able to stay in the seat when empty.
