Does anyone know where to get the mesh grill inserts that dont need to re-locate the hoods latch. You know the ones with the hole in the top corner. I got the 4.7 QC I dont kinow if that matters. Its a custom hood so I hope they will fit. The picture of my hood is in the album 5 top right corner silver dak.I think its basicly the same shape as the stock ones. Feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Your factory grill attaches to the aftermarket hood, right? If so, you shouldn't have any problems with any of the aftermarket grills.

Ahhhhh ... you mean the plastic factory grill inserts, eh? The little fins between the grill? Yeah, I took a pair of side cutters and just cut those little rivet things off. The speed grill attaches with metal clips. Holds the inserts in pretty tight.

OR you can just put the speed grill over the top of the plastic fins. They recommend you remove the fins and just run the speed grill (and I think you'd see the plastic fins behind the grill if you didn't remove 'em).

Yeah ... just clip those with a pair of side cutters, throw away the factory fins, and replace them with aftermaket inserts. That's all ya gotta do.
