Message: Is the 2/4 Belltech lowering kit a good one. I have never lowered anything before and know very little on the subject. I know Hotchkis is the best but I'm sure it's way more than I want to spend on suspension if I can get a good one for less. What size tires should I run on my 15x7's until I can afford different wheels?

Message: if you only want a 2/4 drop and a smooth ride go with belltech. belltech is a VERRY good company.
the hotchkis is not nessesarly a better suspencion, but is a performance suspencion, wich is good for cornering, but it will give you a harsher ride than the belltech setup.
as for tire sizes you can go with a 70 series or lower if you want.

Message: With just a 2/4 drop, will I be far enough off the ground that I can still drive over bumps, dips, etc without scraping?

Message: Yes with that suspension you will have no problems going over speed bump without scrapeing... I have the DJM 5/3 kit with 225/50/25 tires on my 98 C.C. and have no problem going over them, just don't try going over them too fast.

Message: Does anyone have a picture of a 2x4 with this drop? I am also considering this configuration.
