Subject: 3.9L V6 Not reaching Temp? IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know why the engine would not reach temperature? I was driving down the interstate for about 45 mins and noticed that the temperature was only at about 160 when it's usually at 190-210. Do I not have enough coolant? it's registering on the dipstick when it's been driven a while (warm).
Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

Message: If the cooling system is full it could be either the temp sensor is going bad or the thermostat is stuck open. When it's cold start the engine then remove the radiator cap. If coolant circulates when it's cold then the thermostat is stuck open.
