Im lookin for a new intake for my truck. I have a cold air induction hood with a K&N intake that mates to the hood. I think this intake is to restrictive because it still goes into the stock airbox. The intake has to come almost to the front of the car on the passanger side. Thats where the hole is. Can anyone rattle off some intake makers? I was thinking of building my own but dont think it would flow as good as one made from aluminium. Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on what type engine you have the K&N II is a very good intake. They don't make one for my V6 but my brothers R/T picked up quit a bit upon installation. I just have the Airaid for my V6 and I still felt a big difference over just haveing the stock airbox on.

I fixed up an RS Racing intake for my V6. Get a
96-01 Accord intake from RS and connect it to
the stock flex piping. the filter sits right next to
your radiator. if you take out the flange on the
left of the radiator you get all the cold air you
want! the rs intake looks good, its polished
aluminum. the other good thing is that you can
find them on ebay for like 50 bucks. just dont
get a tube that has bends in it stick with the
L-shaped intake tube. This is the one that
matches up nice with our daks. its a
somewhat homebrew intake but with a little bit
of tech in it. mine work great and sounds even
better!
