Message: hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone else on these boards have a big block dakota, and if you do what all is done to the motor and tranny and what year is the truck, I have a 1993 dodge dakota 2wd short bed single cab, it started out as a v6 truck, after beating on it for a while (mainly burnouts hey i was young and it was cool)... i ended up smoking the tranny, i still have the motor because it runs great but its just collecting dust. anyways so i swapped to a 360 LA and a 904, motor was junk it spun the bearings still have all the parts for the motor if anyone is interested, including the milodon rear sump pan for it, long story short now it has a stock 1973 440 and a 727 trans, man my truck is alot of fun, some day when money permits i would like to do alot of performance stuff to the chassis, motor, and trans, including getting a sure grip 8 3/4 rearend
