Hey Guys,
Have a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 with the 3.9L V6 and know next to nothing about working under the hood. Yes I know the basics, but nothing to complex. I just received confirmation of my ROTC scholarship so as a reward I am getting some money to put into my truck. You may say, well why waste your time on a V6? This truck has only 45000 miles on it and I love it so I'd like to build it up. Only problem is, I don't know how to do anything myself. If there is anyone in Southeast Connecticut (860) who would be interested in working on a V6 Dakota every so often or have any good advice, please let me know. This will be an allout project that I would like to finish before I leave for college in August. Plans are bigger throttle body, new intake, new flash, new rockers, full exhaust (headers, ypipe, hi flow cats, catback), and possibly forced induction if there is enough money. Call me stupid, but I love this damn truck
