Message: You haven't mentioned what size pipes you plan on running; and that is one of the most critical areas in getting your exhaust "perfect". It should be sized to keep the scavaging exhaust flow speed up as the exhaust exits the cylinders - otherwise you will lose torque.

Message: I was thinking to stick with the stock size of 2 3/4, but you guys are the experts, and I think 3 inch pipes might be too much for the 239

Message: a single 2.5 would probably be plenty for a V-6

Message: i had a 50 series delta 2.5 in with 2" out sounded good but the relaced it with a single 2.5 in and out 40 delta flow with a 3" sounds nice also but better performance. thats my 2 cents

Message: I have Gibson headers on my 98 v-6 and they were relatively cheap, they are c.a.r.b legal and i like em,now they werent no where near the quality of the JBA headers i got on my 94 prospecting rig,but for the price they were decent.
