 Subject: True Dual Pipe Size

Gettin exhaust done and was wondering the size of pipe i should go with on my more less stock 99 kota 5.2, cai and programmer (gettin it soon), id like to go 2.5 but im debating if thats overkill any help is much appreciated.

Ive had 2.5 and 2.25 and actually prefer the 2.25. It seem to still give me decent low end and better mid and top end performance than stock. I tow alot with my truck so I still need good low end performance. I think if you do the math you find that 2 or 2.25 is sufficent for a small block v8 though.

i hade 2 1/2" on my 5.2. my bro in law has an 4.7 with 2.5" and it sounds good and performes
great.
