Anyone know anything good or bad about Magnum Performance? The impression I get is the customer service sucks and their products are way over priced.

Also, anyone know anything about the mods they list for the 4.7. They list "Air cleaners, throttle bodies, modified manifolds (yup! the plastic ones), injector upgrades, torque converter upgrades, camshaft upgrades... gears & more." That was posted on their site on March 30, 2000, and everytime I ask them about their modified manifold or the cams, they think I am stupid for even asking. The list products that don't even exisit.

Sorry if I appear to negative. I just want to know if I can trust them with parts or service.

My very first (modified) throttle body is sitting on my shelf in the garage as an example of what NOT to buy. (Magnum Performance $1000 - "V6 R/T Special"). The shaft has way too much end play and leaks under boost...also stumbles under light to mid throttle with boost as well.

For the price, no way. KRC tested a Magnum Performance TB and found no more than 6HP more out of it. I tested the Flometrics TB (50mm on a Supercharged V6) and it showed 20HP more than a stock V8 TB. The stock V8 pulled better than the $1000 TB from MP.
